Unlocking the Potential of Cryotherapy

Have you ever considered being locked in a freezer as a training exercise? Well, that’s one way to prepare for the intense cold of cryotherapy, and it’s an experience I recently had. Let me share my adventure with you.

Cryotherapy involves exposing your body to extremely low temperatures, and the CryoCube in Bridgend takes the chill to a bone-chilling minus 200 degrees Celsius. Don’t worry; they make sure it’s not as harsh as it sounds by blowing dry air through the chamber.

During my visit, I spent about three to four minutes inside the CryoCube, followed by a relaxing 10-minute session of infrared therapy. The main goal here is to reduce inflammation in the body. In my case, I was hopeful that this would help with some suspected inflammation in my small intestine, although I’m still undergoing tests with my doctor to determine the exact cause.

This combination of cryotherapy and infrared therapy is believed to have a positive effect on the body, helping it adapt to change and potentially reducing inflammation. For anyone dealing with inflammation, this could be a beneficial protocol to consider.

One great thing about the CryoCube in Bridgend is the reasonable price, starting at just $56 for a day of cryotherapy. It’s accessible to a wide range of people.

If you’re wondering whether there are any tips to make the most of your cryotherapy session, I can share that I went on an empty stomach. While I’m not entirely sure if it’s the right approach, I found it manageable. However, after the session, I did feel quite tired, especially during the hour and a half drive back home. Even now, I’m still feeling a bit lethargic, so a nap is in order.

In the bigger scheme of things, cryotherapy falls into the category of thermoreceptive therapy. It’s all about challenging the body through temperature changes, similar to the concept of hormesis, where the body adapts to stressors for positive results.

As part of the Eight Decisions approach, cryotherapy fits into the category of methods to cleanse and energize both the body and mind. There are many methods for achieving this, and we’re excited to introduce more protocols as we continue our journey of self-improvement and self-discovery.

Our journey is all about optimizing our minds and bodies, beginning with clearing the channels of energy within ourselves. This clarity of thought, rational thinking, and increased energy are stepping stones toward self-exploration and self-inquiry, helping us become more aware of ourselves and our true purpose.

Are we on the right path? It’s a question we all hold, but one thing is certain: we’re on a path of exploration and self-improvement. We hope you’ll join us on this journey.
