How To Retain Energy & Clarity Of Mind Throughout The Day – Morning Routine and In-Flight Checks

Today, we introduce the idea of establishing a good morning routine and using In-Flight Checks and Pre-Flight Checks. These practices can set your mind on the right path for a day filled with rational thinking and high energy. We hope you find this video helpful and invite you to share your thoughts, ideas, wisdom, or gratitude in the comments.

First, let’s talk about intention. Starting your day with the right routine can significantly impact your productivity. Regardless of whether you’re a morning person or not, having a positive morning routine sets the tone for the rest of the day. For instance, one person wakes up at 4:35 in the morning, sits on the edge of the bed, and takes a moment to clear their mind. Then they perform some movements, practice deep breathing, and set their intention for the day. This intention is simply about flowing through the day, using practices that promote their physical and mental well-being.

Now, let’s consider Pre-Flight and In-Flight Checks. Imagine your body as an airplane, and you are the pilot. In the morning, you intend to take flight and reach your destination at the end of the day efficiently. Just as a pilot performs checks before taking off, you can do the same with practices that enhance your physical and mental health.

Think of these practices as switches on a control panel. For example, doing breathwork is like flipping switch number one, engaging in movement flow is switch number two, setting positive intentions for interactions is switch number three, and establishing your overall intention is switch number four. By performing these checks, you prepare your body for a smooth flight through the day.

These practices have various benefits. They improve blood flow, balance oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, and enhance your ability to tolerate higher levels of carbon dioxide. Additionally, they slow down the prefrontal cortex, allowing for rational thinking and positive decision-making throughout the day.

In essence, Pre-Flight and In-Flight Checks ensure you’re on the right track to reach your daily destination with satisfaction and enter a good sleep state at the end of the day.
